Pax encourages each client to achieve financial independence by the time they complete our substance use disorder treatment program. Employment plays a major role in a client’s self-worth and self-esteem. We recognize that due to the severity of a client’s addiction, chronic unemployment can add increase the chance of a client’s relapse. Therefore, as part of our treatment program, our case managers work with each client to prepare them to seek and obtain gainful employment. Clients who continuously test negative for substances and are successfully performing in their assigned program have the opportunity to utilize our resources and outside linkages in order to have gainful employment upon completion of SUD treatment.
